Jujutsu was the unarmed fighting art of the Samurai warriors from feudal Japan. the art of Jujutsu evolved out of a combat form of Sumo
wrestling in the 16th Century. After this happened hundreds of Jujutsu schools began to emerge each teaching it's own way and style. Today there are many modern schools of Jujutsu all over the world.
Only a few of the traditional schools survived. No to Jujutsu Schools are the same. For example Renzoku Jujutsu which does teach it's students to grappling is completely different then Brazilian Jujutsu
which specialize in grappling. Even some schools that teach the same style usually teach it in a very different manner. The World of the Arts website has information on two forms of Jujutsu. These
are Renzoku Jujutsu and Brazilian Jujutsu. If you have a style of Jujutsu that you
